Busy Corpsmembers!!!
LVI Corpsmembers have been extremely busy this week! The GulfCorps members started a new project mapping invasive species at the Ridge Trail in Bayou Sauvage National Wildlife Refuge. Our AmeriCorps members have been busy collecting soils samples through an on-the-job training opportunity provided by BFA Environmental (http://www.bfaenvironmental.com/). Our AmeriCorps members and LVI graduates have also been busy attending the American Association of Geographers (http://www.aag.org/) annual conference through the Emerging Workforce Scholars program.
I would like to send out a BIG THANKS to the Mayor-Elect LaToya Cantrell, Mr. Drew Lehman, the AAG, and many, many others for working with LVI to help us achieve our mission and goals!
